Continuing our campaign for Mending Nottingham, Redmak have prepared a development strategy for the North end of the Sneinton Market in Nottingham City Centre.

The proposal seeks to redevelop part of the Sneinton Market that has fallen into neglect, into a mix use development of highly energy efficient town houses, retail and commercial enterprises. With a Land Value of £600k, the scheme has a Project Value of £11m + which provides a Developers Profit at 8%

The scheme uses and follows the tried and tested perimeter block model and transports it to a high rise, inner city typology to achieve:

  1. 16 Code 5 Houses above the retail units ranging from 3 bedroom 5 person to 4 bedroom 6 person houses. Each house comprises of 4 floors of accommodation, dedicated car space and a rear private patio garden.
  2. 32 Code 4 Flats ranging from 1 bedroom 3 person (31sqm) to 2 bedroom 4 person (55sqm)
  3. 12 Units of retail or commercial each with a street level area and frontage and a mexxanine level. Units range in size from 75 sqm to 195sqm.
