Continuing our campaign for Mending Nottingham, Redmak has prepared a strategy for the refurbishment of a 1970’s furniture store on Mansfield Road which has been unused for a number of years. The proposal includes retail units on the ground floor and houses on the upper floors, with a new build block of 3 flats at the rear.

The proposal follows the perimeter block ideal to enliven street frontages – in this case; Mansfield Road and Hucknall Road with the fronts of houses, flats and retail units.

Our proposal generates 92% of the current site and building asking price and produces a scheme valued at in excess of £1.7m with an envisaged developers profit of 15%.
